Job Description :
A PIC panel electrician works on power and control panels used to operate motors, pumps, compressors, and other industrial equipment.
Main Duties are :
Reading and understanding electrical drawings and schematics
Wiring contactors, relays, MCBs, MCCBs, VFDs
Installing and terminating power and control cables
Testing panels before commissioning
Troubleshooting panel faults
Panel modification and maintenance
Qualifications & Skills Required
HS pass, Diploma or ITI in electrical candidates should be appropriate for this work.
Knowledge of electrical safety
Understanding of control circuits
Multimeter & insulation tester use
Basic PLC and DCS knowledge (sometimes required)
